A review of St George Motor Boat Club
A review of St George Motor Boat Club, Sans Souci
Two years ago I photographed Justin’s christening for Maria and Buddy. Almost to the day, two years later I photographed the christening of Jade, Justin’s younger sister. The christening venue was St George Motor Boat Club in Sans Souci.
Often Christening venues have dingy light. St George Motor Club was the opposite, it has great indoor light and even better, a multitude of photographic options – four in total.
Photographic backdrop No 1 – the neighbouring park
Photographic backdrop No 2 – the marina of St George Motor Bloat club
A two-minute stroll from the club, the marina had a lovely pale aqua backdrop. This backdrop was excellent to highlight that attractive colours of the dresses and being outside, everyone was relaxed.
Photographic backdrop No 3 – on the balcony of St George Motor Bloat club
Then I photographed candid portraiture and family portraits on the club’s spacious balcony. This was a great location as it’s large, everyone is at ease and playful.
Photos like these make great presents for your guests as they are a permanent memory of such a special occasion.
Photographic backdrop No 4 – inside St George Motor Boat club
Inside the motor boat club isn’t a problem to photograph because the club is well lit.
In summary, I recommend St George Motor Bloat club as a venue for functions as it makes for great and varied photography and the food is delicious.
